The Roman showcase, which officially kicked off the bridal
season, welcomed top brands and designers from the national and international bridal
industry, making it an essential event for buyers worldwide. Confirmation of its leading
role also comes from its exhibition offer focused on exclusivity.
Rome, March 26, 2024 – The sixth edition of Rome Bridal Week, the event dedicated to the world of
bridal and accessories and the ceremony that officially opened the bridal season, ended positively.
A lively three days which concentrated, at Fiera di Roma, the 2025 proposals of the companies
symbolizing Made in Italy alongside those created by the most renowned international names and a
selection of famous designers with signature couture.
The result was appreciated by top buyers who attended the event, recognizing the value of its offer,
encapsulated in a showcase capable of providing a dynamic overview of the sector, ideal for
strategically understanding the market and its evolution.
“Excellence, quality and exclusivity were the directives we followed to select the exhibitors of the
event with the aim of creating an unparalleled exhibition moment that took into account the
commercial dynamics but, at the same time, expressed its strong and recognizable identity. And, at
the conclusion of this edition, we can say we were right” said Andrew Lookman, the Dutch manager who
created the bridal show.
The selection criteria for the protagonists involved has always been a key factor of Rome Bridal
Week, favoring original characteristics of style and approach to create a unique event in dialogue
with the stylistic and commercial needs of its reference sector. A recipe for success that
transcends national borders, as demonstrated by the geographical coordinates of the attendees
recorded during this latest edition: Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Australia, Israel,
South Korea – in addition to Italy – are the countries of origin of visitors who gathered at Rome
Bridal Week.
The success of the event was also favored by the immersive and indispensable experience that allowed
its visitors to discover the trends of the upcoming season. A balanced mix of authentic Made in
Italy and the most prestigious international signatures, translating into a preference for 2025 for
dresses with essential and minimal lines, energized by voluminous sleeves and modestly seductive
necklines. Trends reflecting a strong fascination for the East and for classic or pastel color
schemes, as well as a new focus on more structured fabrics like mikado, and a revisited return of
classics from the past. These are just some of the indications that emerged from the collections
presented at Rome Bridal Week 2024, which one should look to for building a multifaceted mood board
of the immediate future.
