The debut of the Designer Area: for the first time in a
bridal event the excellence of national and international designers is grooved in one
dedicated space.
Appointment from 23rd to 25th March at Fiera di Roma with the sixth edition of the event
which expands its offer in a bridal couture key.
Rome, February 2024. The sixth edition of Rome Bridal Week, the event dedicated to the world of the
bride, the groom, accessories, and the ceremony, opens to explore the couture universe that belongs
to the bride by debuting with its new Designer Area. An ad hoc space designed to host the excellence
of national and international designers who, in their vision, gave life to bridal creations but
reinterpreted in an elegant and sophisticated way, with that unique touch that characterizes
couturiers.
A novelty that reflects the lively soul of the event and, above all, responds to the needs of buyers
who, in the multifaceted and versatile offer of Rome Bridal Week, can once again satisfy their
desires both in terms of proposal and prestige of the names involved, between brands and companies.
In fact, in addition to the already confirmed exhibitors who will meet in the pavilions of
Fiera di Roma from 23rd to 25th March 2024, the new Designer Area will welcome the
best of creatives from all latitudes for whom, for the most part, it will be a debut on the stage of
a fair.
“For the first time in an event in our trade, a project capable of bringing the bridal world closer
to the couture world is launched in a space conceived in the name of the purest creativity, which
finally accounts for the different aspects of the bridal universe, no longer limited by rigid
boundaries but open to new and rich declinations,” said Andrew Lookman, the Dutch
manager who created the bridal show.
A richness that is evident from the line-up of names expected to date in the Designer Area, which
includes creatives with a strong identity and a unique aesthetic vision. Starting from the
hyper-refined minimalism of the all-female maison from Bilbao, Sophie et Voilà,
alongside the sustainable – but always extremely fabulous – soul of the English Rolling in
Roses, and the sartorially avant-garde design of Carta Branca‘s
creations, designed in Belgium and produced in Portugal. And again, among the protagonists of the
most authentic Made in Italy, the noble and emotional DNA of Simone Marulli‘s
signature and the aesthetic journey into the different souls of Mediterranean beauty by
Emanuele Bilancia stand out, in addition to the homage to the pure and precious
femininity of Tosca Spose. And again, the contemporary and brilliant opulence of
the Australian Vivienna Lorikeet and the dreamlike dimension translated into
wedding dresses by the American Atelier Soucy. Last but not least, all the
refinement of Italian craftsmanship is ready to take shape in the proposals designed by
Barbara Beltrame and in the exclusive and modern luxury of the Maura
Brandino atelier.
These names complete an overall picture rich in content and ideas capable of reflecting the
complexity of bridal fashion worldwide, giving life to a collective event that has become
indispensable for discovering the trends of the near future and the brands and creatives who will be
protagonists.
